The meaning of life

Today, I want to tell you about the meaning of life. I think life is a song, so you have two shoices. One, you can makes this song strange. The other is to makes the song more abundant. If you choose the number one, your life may become dark. Why?because you may meet some bad friend, and you start taking drugs or drink alcohol. If you choose the other choice, your life may become promising. The life always undulate, because it will make your song more speacial. If it isn't, you can't enjoy your own life!

This a song's lyrics, and this song call "Life is a song". The song says"Maybe life is a song but you're scared to song along Until the very ending". Yes, peoople scare of the ending of life. Nobody want to die, but I think we don't need to care about it. The point is how to make my own song more speacial. Farming mythology

This is the picture of the man who entreats the god gives them corn

I find some farming mythology about corn. Corn is the major crops of Maya, so there's some mythology of corn. First, corn's existence was under the mountain or an huge rock. The only one can eat is the ants. The man asks the god for help, and the god remove some precious foods from under the ground. All the human can takes it. At first, all the corns are white. However, a lightening bolt makes it burned. Some grains smoked, this is why they are now black, yellow and red varieties in the grain. There's also a corn god among Maya is Yum K'aax.

Today, I find some websites about Egyprian god and goddess. First, I'll tell you Ra. He is the god of the son, and he also a important god. He always shows his appearance like a falcon. The end of each day, Ra will thought to die. He sails to tweleve doors, which represent tweleve hours. Next morning, he will born again.

Second, I'll tell you about Isis stories. She is the most popular of the Egyptian pantheon, and she has some great magic power. Her husband is Osiris, and her son is named Horus. Osiris died by his enemy, but Isis takes the pieces of body. She mixes it, and Osiris live again. They make their son Horus.

Last god I'll tell is Osiris, He is a king of Egypt. One brother Seth very jealous him, so he murdered him. However, Osiris come alive agian.

I think those short stories is about we need to respect God and goddess. If you don't, you will get the big trouble. Also, god and goddess is honorable. We can't encroach them!

The Hero in the Mythology

He is Perseus, the favorite hero I ever seen. Look! he takes out the monster's head!

I found this website with three heros. First,I will tell you Jason. He is the man who search golden fleece. Pelias is his uncle also an evil man, and he stole the kingdom it should be Jason. Pelias says he will reture it if Jason find the "Golden fleece". He fell in such a big danger, but finally he found it. He saves the kingdom!

Second, I will tell you about Perseus. He is the son of Zeus. He slaied Gorgon Medusa, because Medusa wants to use some magic hurts a man. He also saves the princess Andromeda from a sea monster, because he used Medusa's head to made the monster became a stone.

Last story I'll tell you is Theseus adventures. He is known of his triumph of monsters, the most famous one is "Minotaur". He lived in an island, people need sent forteen young people to him every year. Theseus knew it, and used a ball of magic to attack the monster. Finally, he killed the monster. Later, he became a famous warrior.

I think this three stories of heros all tell people need to have three important thing. Wisdom, courage and willpower can solve any problem. Like Perseus use this three things to attack monster. Also, ancient world is dangeous. People create some hero to be their gods, because they fear of the dangeous world!

I find this great website of chinese myths. I will tell you some stories. At first, the universe was like a egg. Then, Pan Gu born. When he stretch his body, the earth becomes more thicker. Finally, the sky separated from the earth. After Pan Gu died, his body became mountains and fields, sun, moon and stars, gold, jade, pearls and rocks, rain and dews.

I think this myth mean the beginning of the universe, ancient people didn't know the space. They use their mind to create some stories to make people believe.

The other myth story is "Yi Shoots Down Nine Suns". Yi was a god in the heaven, the emperor of the god sent Yi down to the earth. He need to help people, and he saw ten suns on the sky. He use bow shoot nine suns down, he saved people!

I think this story mean why the sky have one sun, this story have related of their environment. The ancient world is dangeous, so they describe the sun is evil. And they created some hero to help them, it is the cause what they need to create him.

There have the last story I will tell you, is "Chang'e Flies to the Moon". One time, Yi visited to the west of queen. He took some elixir, but Chang'e stole it and flew to the moon. However, she is sad and lone.

I think this story tells about what happen when you have greed. The people use this story to remind our don't greedily, because it may make you fall in a big trouble. Like Chang'e, she stole it. And made her lone, one person in the moon.

Samurai

The samurai is the members of the military class, the Japanese warriors. There's weapen has bows and arrows, spears and guns, but the famous weapen is sword.Their lives according the ethic of bushido, and it stressed the concepts of loyalty their master. The samurai's importance grow in heian period, because some rich people hired their private warrior to save them.During the Muromachi Period, there are many wars. Many people fight each other,so the the demand for samurai was very high. Many samurai work in farm that time. In Edo Period, the samurai need to live in a place called castle towns. They also has some income. In 1868, the samurai class was abolished.

This man is James Burchfield, he can use a great Beatbox. It is the best Beatbox I ever seen.

I go to ted.com and watch some video. I watch the David Perry one, he is talking about video games. He use a video to introduce the video games grow. Like basketball games, at beginning there's just two kind of spot moving and shot. Slowly, the game becomes real. Everything is real, it's more like you are playing a real basketball. Racing game also, at beginning there just the black and white spot. It comes real at now,it makes you feel you are driving the car. He says he has a plan to make the video games more emotional, can makes people cry. I thinks he has a great idea to make it emotional, it is a cool idea. I wish one day,the video games becomes more emotional.

The second I watch is Ann Cooper, she is talking about school lunch. She thinks we feed children to death, because the school lunch is unhealthy. She think goverment let this garbage food be in the school, and children always eat it. The food in school isn't make students smart, it just make you sick. I think she tell a big problem, because my school's lunch also not fresh at all. I agree her the goverment need to care about it.

The last one I watch is a cool one, he is named James Burchfield. His pet name is "Audio Poet", because he can use "Beatbox" to imitate the machine breakdown. The show also has rhythms, and he only use his voice. I heard many Beatbox, but I think he is the best.
